Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. The actor gained fame following his appearance on Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred on 20 features, such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He has also appeared in over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled this disease since. It was remissioned after two years. Treatment at a young time had negative effects on the body. This impeded his growth. As he was raised in poverty, he wanted to attain financial stability. Interviewer stated that as that he was living in such a bleak way throughout his life I was in need of the financial security to feel confident and secure. In a conversation the actor also discusses his own growing up. His goal is to put an end to bullies. The fact that cruel acts break his heart. The ideal character for him in films and in life is father. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. One day he'd like to be a father himself in the future, when he could be able to spend less time to his career and more to his child.
